MRF Ltd., the tire manufacturer, has declared its highest-ever final dividend of ₹194 per share following the release of its March quarter results. This marks a significant increase in payouts compared to previous quarters. Throughout the financial year 2024, the company had already distributed two interim dividends of ₹3 each, bringing the total dividend for the year to ₹200 per share or 2,000% for shares with a face value of ₹10 each.

In contrast, the previous financial year, MRF had announced a final dividend of ₹169 per share. Combined with interim dividends, the total payout for the financial year 2023 amounted to ₹175 per share. However, in the March quarter, MRF experienced a 7.6% decline in net profit, reporting ₹379.6 crore compared to ₹410.7 crore during the same period last year. Additionally, the EBITDA margin narrowed by 40 basis points to 14.3% from 14.7% last year.

Following the quarterly results announcement, MRF's stock has continued to decline, currently trading at ₹1,28,010, down by 4.4%.
