Airtel to offer cloud and Gen-AI solutions with Google Cloud in India.

On Monday, Bharti Airtel revealed a long-term partnership with Google Cloud to provide cloud solutions to businesses in India. Airtel will utilize Google Cloud's artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance customer experiences across mobile, broadband, and digital television services. This collaboration will extend to Airtel's business-to-business clients in India and worldwide, aiming to offer advanced cloud solutions to expedite their adoption and modernization processes. Moreover, Airtel plans to deliver cloud-managed services to its extensive customer base, comprising over 2,000 large enterprises and one million emerging businesses. The partnership targets India's rapidly growing public cloud services market, projected to reach $17.8 billion by 2027, as per IDC.

Additionally, both companies will collaborate on developing artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions, leveraging Airtel's vast data set. These solutions will encompass geospatial analytics for location intelligence, voice analytics for conversational applications, and marketing technology solutions for consumer behavior forecasting and streamlined content creation. Gopal Vittal, Bharti Airtel's Managing Director and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting its potential to provide secure and scalable cloud solutions to various sectors. Airtel has established a managed services center in Pune, comprising over 300 experts trained to promote Google Cloud services and develop innovative tech solutions.

Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, emphasized that the collaboration with Airtel represents a significant step towards accelerating cloud and artificial intelligence adoption in India.
