Domestic passenger vehicle sales up over 1% at 3,35,629 units in April, says SIAM.

According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), passenger vehicle wholesales in India increased by 1.3 percent year-on-year to 335,629 units in April. During the same period in April 2023, companies dispatched 331,278 passenger vehicles to dealers.

SIAM data reveals a notable surge in two-wheeler wholesales, which jumped by 31 percent to 1,751,393 units last month compared to 1,338,588 units in April of the preceding year.

Similarly, three-wheeler wholesales experienced a growth of 14.5 percent, reaching 49,116 units in April, up from 42,885 units recorded in April 2023.
