Hamare Baarah’s Ankita Dwivedi Says ‘I Locked Myself For 2 Days’ On Massive Trolling.

"Hamare Baarah" faced controversy long before its release, with threats made online against its actors and producers. Ankita Dwivedi, who debuted as Rukhsaar, shared her experience with the backlash following the teaser release. She said, "Initially, I was scared, started crying, and locked myself in my room for two days because it had never happened to me before. I was so frightened that I couldn't leave the house until my family came and calmed me down. I made sure to stay off social media for a while." Ankita added that social media can feel like a double-thickened wall, where the true identity of the abuser remains hidden, allowing them to exploit you freely. She believes their motivation comes from a desire to vent their rage and unhappiness with life. "As a human, you will be affected by their horrible comments, but eventually, you understand that ignoring them is the only solution because they just won't stop," she explained.

Addressing the audience now that the film has been released, Ankita urged, "I request people to watch the film and decide for themselves. The film has a beautiful message, and it incorporates family dynamics, values, human emotions, and rights. It’s a beautifully crafted story with emotional ups and downs. I’m sure the audience will love it when they watch it."

Produced by Birender Bhagat, Ravi S. Gupta, Sanjay Nagpal, Sheo Balak Singh, and Annu Kapoor, "Hamare Baarah" features a strong cast, including Abhimanyu Singh, Parth Samthaan, and Ashwini Kalsekar. Directed by Ravi S. Gupta, with Ajendra Ajay as creative director and a script by Rajan Agarwal, the film tells a poignant tale of societal issues and individual struggles.
