Release Amid Controversy: Man Accused of Making Death Threats to Vivek Ramaswamy Is Set Free

On Thursday, a judge granted release from jail to Tyler Anderson, a 30-year-old man from Dover, New Hampshire, who was accused of sending threatening text messages to kill a presidential candidate. Anderson, arrested on Saturday, faced charges of sending threats using interstate commerce and chose to waive his right to a preliminary hearing on Thursday.

During the proceedings, a federal prosecutor advocated for keeping Anderson in detention until his trial, citing the use of "very violent, concerning language" in his messages. However, both the prosecution and defence attorneys acknowledged that Anderson admitted he had no intention of carrying out the threats mentioned in his texts.
