Mahesh Bhatt to Support Pooja For his Involvement in Big Boss OTT-2
The Bigg Boss franchise has emerged as a prominent reality TV show brand in the entertainment industry. With its 16th season concluded last year, the show garnered immense popularity and was hailed as a blockbuster due to its massive viewership. Salman Khan has been the host of the reality show since its third season, and his charismatic demeanor and candid conversations have resonated well with the audience. In 2021, the show expanded its horizons with the introduction of an OTT version, which was hosted by Karan Johar. Now, Bigg Boss OTT is returning with its super second season, again featuring Salman Khan as the host. Notably, the list of contestants also includes filmmaker and 90’s actress Pooja Bhatt.
However, it’s been just a few days since the controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ commenced and the contestants seem to be warming up to each other and sharing details about their life.
Filmmaker-actress Pooja Bhatt, who is seen as a contestant in the show, spoke about her battle with alcoholism at the age of 44 and then her journey to sobriety. In an Interview, Mahesh Bhatt commented, “The most extraordinary journey in life commences when we fearlessness and eagerly embrace the unknown and that’s exactly what she has done. I deeply respect their boldness.”
During a conversation with a fellow contestant, Pooja acknowledged her struggle with alcoholism. She was realizing that her recovery should not be kept a secret when she made the choice to overcome alcoholism. Additionally, she mentioned that she was labeled as an alcoholic by others, but she decided not to consume further. His father explained that the actress openly shared her addiction and her decision to quit drinking because society tends to view addiction and recovery as primarily affecting the other gender, the men, who are typically allowed to openly discuss their alcohol addiction and recovery, whereas women are discouraged from discussions ultimately making their recovery journeys worst. Since Pooja Bhatt used to drink openly, she silently recovered and instead became more vocal about her journey to conquer the addiction.
In a surprising turn of events, Pooja initially appeared on stage as a panelist but later joined the other contestants as a member of the Bigg Boss house. This unexpected move caught many people off guard, and their heads turned as they were shocked to see her as a participant. It was a moment that reminded us of the unpredictable nature of reality television, where the unexpected can happen at any moment, captivating viewers and keeping them on the edge of their seats.
