Tiger 3 star Salman Khan and Karan Johar to collaborate for an actioner?

Since the 1990s, Salman Khan has been a prominent superstar, and in a similar vein, filmmaker Karan Johar has been reigning over Bollywood with his successful movies like "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham," "Kal Ho Naa Ho," "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna," and more. Surprisingly, these two influential figures in Indian cinema have never teamed up for a full-fledged film, except for Salman's cameo appearance in "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai." However, recent reports indicate a significant development – the duo has now united for a major film project. This collaboration marks their first venture together in almost 25 years.

The upcoming special project is rumored to be an extensive action-packed film, and according to reports, Karan Johar has approached Salman Khan for the venture. While KJo will be handling the production, the director's chair is said to be occupied by Vishnu Vardhan. This marks his second directorial effort following the critically acclaimed "Shershaah." Over the past six months, the trio has engaged in discussions about the project, and the film's shooting schedule has been meticulously planned. The team is currently considering Christmas 2024 for the film's release. It's reported that the shooting will take place across multiple schedules spanning 7-8 months.

The movie is rumored to showcase unprecedented action sequences, promising a visual spectacle. Pre-production activities are expected to commence in August 2023. Salman Khan is also set to embark on his preparation journey, which will encompass rigorous physical training to excel in action scenes and maintain his physique. 

Currently occupied with the upcoming project "Tiger 3," Salman will shift his focus to Karan Johar's film once his commitments to "Tiger 3" are fulfilled. While Salman Khan's involvement is confirmed, details about the remaining cast members for this untitled movie are yet to be unveiled. This remarkable collaboration between Salman and Karan is anticipated to be a significant blockbuster release during Christmas 2024.

Simultaneously, Salman Khan is engaged in hosting Bigg Boss OTT 2. Speaking of his film ventures, he's getting ready for "Tiger 3," a highly anticipated project that marks his reunion with the film franchise's co-star, Katrina Kaif. Notably, Emraan Hashmi also plays a pivotal role in the movie. The eagerly awaited "Tiger 3" is scheduled for release during Diwali 2023.

On the other side, Karan Johar is reveling in the triumph of "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani." This film, featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, has made a remarkable impact at the box office, becoming a hit within two weeks of its theatrical run. In just 10 days following its release, the movie has amassed over Rs 100 crore and continues to thrive.
