Rahul Mahajan shares about his divorce from Natalya, expressing significant distress
Rahul Mahajan and Natalya Ilina's divorce rumors circulated on the internet. Speculation suggested that they were living apart, marking Rahul's third marriage. However, Rahul Mahajan remained silent about these rumors at the time. Now, he has finally addressed the reports of his divorce from his third wife, Natalya. Rahul Mahajan has indeed confirmed the news of his divorce and described the situation as traumatic, likening it to an earthquake.
In an interview with Etimes, Rahul Mahajan shared that the aftershocks of this life-altering event still affect him. He acknowledged that moving forward is the only option. Natalya left Rahul in July of the previous year, and their divorce was finalized in January. Rahul, the former pilot, also revealed that despite not showing it outwardly, he is deeply sensitive about the situation.
Rahul chose not to delve into the details of what led to the separation between him and Natalya. He expressed that sharing his side of the story would make it one-sided, and he holds no animosity towards his ex-wife. He emphasized that he still has love and respect for her.
The former Bigg Boss 2 star mentioned that he doesn't know Natalya's current whereabouts but added that love doesn't simply vanish. There have been rumors suggesting that the divorce occurred because Rahul wanted a child while Natalya sought alimony. Rahul, however, provided clarification on this matter.
Rahul Mahajan clarified that he never had intentions of having a child in his relationship with Natalya, and they never made any attempts to conceive. He disclosed that he and Dimpy Ganguly had tried for a child but faced a miscarriage, and at his current age of 48, he has no desire for parenthood.
Additionally, Rahul stated that he had never paid any alimony in any of his marriages, including those with Shweta Singh, Dimpy Ganguly, and Natalya Ilina. He emphasized that they had mutual agreements in each marriage.
Reflecting on his multiple divorces, Rahul expressed his pain and disappointment, acknowledging that he never anticipated experiencing divorce multiple times. He described the ordeal as hurtful, with his soul feeling torn. The Smart Jodi contestant also emphasized that sometimes relationships simply don't work, and it's not necessarily anyone's fault.
