She unveiled the distressing experience of receiving threats and hate messages from fans of a fellow contestant on the show, without explicitly mentioning the contestant's name. However, it appears she was referring to Rubina Dilaik. It's worth noting that Jasmin and Rubina initially began as friends during their time on the show. Subsequently, Jasmin Bhasin and Rubina Dilaik engaged in a bitter dispute that led to the dissolution of their friendship. Consequently, it appears that the rape threats directed at Jasmin were from Rubina's supporters.

Jasmin Bhasin was depressed post getting threats

Jasmin disclosed that she experienced depression for the first time after receiving those threats, finding it extremely challenging to cope with online trolls and hate messages following her stint on Bigg Boss 14. Over time, she managed to overcome this depression.

Expressing her confusion, Jasmin questioned how people could simultaneously harbor such intense love and hatred for someone. She suggested that people tend to reflect their inner feelings in their actions.

Initially, she battled depression but eventually realized that those sending threats lacked any true identity. She remarked that such individuals lacked the courage or integrity to openly express their sentiments and resorted to hiding behind anonymity.
