It's truly disheartening to see the anticipation surrounding Jee Le Zaraa, featuring Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif, turn into disappointment due to constant delays. The recent buzz about the film resurfacing is now linked to Priyanka Chopra, who reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with the script, resulting in the project being shelved. Earlier, BollywoodLife had exclusively reported the film's hiatus during Alia Bhatt's pregnancy. Speculations are also circulating about Katrina Kaif expecting her first child, while Priyanka Chopra embraced motherhood a year ago.

Based on the latest reports, it appears that Priyanka Chopra is hesitant to proceed with the film. A close source revealed to HT that Priyanka was dissatisfied with the script and outright declined the opportunity. The insider shared, "The truth is that Priyanka Chopra did not like the script and said no to it. She was supposed to come to India for sister Parineeti Chopra’s wedding and at the same time sign the film’s contract. But things could not be taken ahead because there were creative differences." The film might face further delays, as the scheduled date and time have passed, prompting the makers to once again rewrite the script to make it relevant.

Despite the speculations, director Farhan Akhtar has quelled doubts about the film's fate. He clarified that the project is still on track but is facing challenges with Priyanka Chopra's dates. Farhan stated, “We just have issues with dates, and the actor’s strike that’s happened has put Priyanka’s dates into a huge tizzy with what can happen and what can’t, so I’ve started genuinely believing that that film now has a destiny of its own. It’ll happen when it has to, we’ll see," in an interview with Variety. It does sound like the film is caught in a web of uncertainties and challenges. Despite the reassurances from Farhan Akhtar, the prevailing issues with dates and other factors may be causing a significant delay, perhaps even putting the project's future in jeopardy. Only time will tell if Jee Le Zaraa will eventually see the light of day or if its destiny leads it to remain unmade.
