On Monday, Chandigarh's inaugural Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF), scheduled from March 27 to 31, revealed its extensive lineup of more than 67 titles, spanning world cinema, Indian feature films, classics, and short films.
The festival will commence with the French culinary drama "The Taste of Things," starring Juliette Binoche, directed by Tran Anh Hung, which earned him the Best Director prize at Cannes. Closing the event will be "Exhuma" ('Pamyo'), a horror drama from South Korea, the highest-grossing film of 2024 in the country.
CIFF's program includes 24 acclaimed international features in the World Cinema section, 16 independent gems in India Unveiled, 27 shorts in Brief Encounters, a specially curated selection of children’s films, and timeless classics ranging from Satyajit Ray to Guru Dutt.
