Pakistan mein ghus kar marenge': Rajnath Singh's stern warning to terrorists

In an interview in Hindi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed concerns raised by a report in British newspaper The Guardian. The report alleged that Indian intelligence agencies had conducted operations in Pakistan, resulting in the deaths of approximately 20 individuals since 2020, as part of a broader strategy to eliminate terrorists abroad.

Responding to The Guardian's claims, the Ministry of External Affairs refuted the allegations, dismissing them as "false and malicious anti-India propaganda." External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar reiterated that targeted killings in foreign countries did not align with India's government policy.

Rajnath Singh, in his interview, reaffirmed India's stance on terrorism, stating that if terrorists from neighbouring countries attempted to disrupt peace or carry out attacks in India, they would face a fitting response. He emphasized India's capability to counter such threats and asserted that if terrorists fled to Pakistan, India would pursue them across the border.

Singh also touched upon the situation in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), expressing confidence that the people of PoK would eventually seek to join India. Regarding Arunachal Pradesh, he reiterated that it was an integral part of India and would always remain so.

Overall, Rajnath Singh's statements underscored India's commitment to combating terrorism while maintaining cordial relations with its neighbours.
