Neeraj Basoya and Naseeb Singh, former Congress MLAs, resigned from the party on Wednesday, citing opposition to the Congress's alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). 
This development occurred just three days after Arvinder Singh Lovely, the Delhi Congress president, resigned from his position, citing similar concerns and internal organizational tensions within the Congress. 
Singh, who served as MLA from Vishwas Nagar from 1998 to 2013, expressed similar sentiments, stating, "I voiced my opposition to the AAP-Congress alliance on various platforms, but despite the views of myself and other Delhi Congress leaders, the party went ahead with the alliance." The alliance between Congress and AAP is specifically for the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, with AAP contesting on four seats (New Delhi, East Delhi, West Delhi, and South Delhi) and Congress on three seats (Chandni Chowk, North East, and North West).
