Tamil Nadu SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) board exams have concluded, and the results have been announced. In order to pass these exams, candidates must score a minimum of 35 marks in each subject. However, those who couldn't secure a passing grade have the option to apply for supplementary exams, with registrations opening from May 11.

For students seeking re-evaluation of their papers, the window for applications will be open from May 15 to 20. The re-examinations are scheduled to take place on July 2.

This year, the overall pass percentage for the SSLC exams stands at 91.55 percent. Out of the 8,94,264 students who appeared for the exams, a total of 8,18,743 students have passed. Among them, 4,22,591 are girls and 3,96,152 are boys.

Once again, girls have outperformed boys in the results, securing a pass percentage of 94.53 percent compared to boys' 88.58 percent. This trend continues from the previous year, where girls had a pass percentage of 94.66 percent and boys had 88.16 percent.

In an effort to support students who didn't achieve a passing grade, the Tamil Nadu government has announced special coaching classes starting from May 13. Additionally, the School Education Department will conduct mock exams every Saturday to help students practice and prepare effectively. This initiative aims to ensure that students have the necessary support to succeed in their exams.

Overall, the SSLC results reflect the dedication and hard work of students, teachers, and educational institutions in Tamil Nadu. With supplementary exams, re-evaluation options, and additional coaching classes, the government is actively working to ensure that every student gets a fair chance to succeed in their academic pursuits.
