Actor Chandrakanth, renowned for his appearances in Telugu daily soap operas, has tragically passed away. Allegedly, he took his own life at his residence in Alkapur, Telangana, on Friday. This sorrowful event follows closely after the untimely demise of his co-star and dear friend, Pavithra Jayaram, who was involved in a car accident.

According to a statement provided by Chandrakanth's father to the authorities, the actor had been grappling with depression in the days leading up to his passing. He was profoundly affected by Pavithra's passing and had expressed his grief through poignant tributes to his 'Trinayani' co-star. His final Instagram post was dedicated to Pavithra, with whom he was reportedly romantically involved. In one of his posts, he lamented, "This is the last picture I took with you. I'm unable to accept that you've left me alone. Please, call out to me once more. My Pavi is gone, please return."
