The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the online application form for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) Examination 2024 today, June 28. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment drive by July 31 on the official website, ssc.nic.in. The deadline for fee submission is August 1, with the application form correction window open on August 16 and 17.
To join this recruitment drive, applicants must complete their forms on SSC’s official website at ssc.nic.in. The drive aims to fill 8,326 positions, with 4,887 vacancies for MTS and 3,439 for Havaldar in CBIC and CBN.
The SSC MTS exam is designed to recruit candidates for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar roles. These are categorized as General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial positions across various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India, as well as different Constitutional Bodies/Statutory Bodies/Tribunals in various States/Union Territories.
Candidates applying for the SSC MTS 2024 must have passed class 12 and be between 18 and 25 years old. The application fee is Rs 100 for general, OBC, and EWS category candidates, while SC, ST, PH, and all category female candidates are exempt from the fee.
The SSC MTS (Non-Technical) and Havaldar examination for the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) is scheduled for October-November. The exam comprises two stages: stage one is a computer-based online examination, and stage two is the physical efficiency test (PET)/physical standard test (PST), conducted offline for candidates who pass stage one.
