Karan Aujla responds angrily after a fan throws a shoe at him during his London concert.
Singer Karan Aujla was interrupted during his London concert at the O2 arena when a shoe was thrown at him.
Singer Karan Aujla, who is currently on tour in the UK, recently had to pause his London show after someone in the audience threw a shoe at him. The incident, which occurred at the O2 arena, quickly spread on social media through various videos and photos.
During his performance, a shoe was thrown from the crowd, hitting Aujla and landing nearby. After stopping the show, he addressed the situation, saying, "Hold on! Who threw that? If you want to come up on stage, let’s handle this one-on-one. Don’t be throwing your shoes in shame. (To the person) Was it you? What are you trying to achieve? Please be respectful." According to the Times of India, he added, "I'm not performing so badly that you need to throw shoes. If you have a problem with me, come directly on stage and talk about it… I’m not saying anything wrong.” Another video showed the individual being escorted out by security.
On social media, reactions to the incident varied. One fan praised Aujla for handling the situation without causing offense, while another tweeted, "Someone threw a shoe at Karan Aujla at the O2 arena. They’re lucky he continued the show. He refused to perform at Rock in Rio, one of the biggest festivals, yet here he is, handling this situation. It’s unfortunate." Another user clarified, “I want to make it clear that the person who threw the shoe was just seeking an autograph on it. Please don’t spread false information. That’s not an acceptable way to get an autograph.”
Upcoming for Karan Aujla is his debut multi-city tour in India titled "It Was All A Dream." He will perform in Chandigarh on December 7, Bengaluru on December 13, New Delhi on December 15 and 19, and Mumbai on December 21. The tour will also include stops in the UK, New Zealand, and Canada. Known for hits like "Softly" and "White Brown Black," Aujla’s track "Tauba Tauba" from Bad Newz, featuring actor Vicky Kaushal, has gone viral with fans recreating its popular hook step in memes and reels.
