In a recent interview with Variety, he humorously remarked, “Let’s do the math… it took 35 years to make this, so I’d be over 100 to make a third part. I guess it’s possible with modern science, but I don’t think so.”
Despite this seemingly discouraging update, the impressive box office performance of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice might motivate producers to consider continuing the franchise. Producer Tommy Harper recently suggested in an interview with Total Film that the idea of a third film isn't completely off the table. “We haven’t discussed future plans yet; our focus was on making this film the best it could be. From here, anything could happen,” he said. Thus, while Beetlejuice 3 isn’t confirmed at the moment, there’s still a chance it could be developed in the future.
Who Could Star in Beetlejuice 3?
