Magenta Mobility broadens its electric vehicle operations in Uttar Pradesh.

Magenta Mobility, a provider of integrated electric mobility solutions, has expanded its operations in Uttar Pradesh, building on its existing presence in Noida. The company has now extended its services to four additional cities: Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, and Varanasi. This expansion is part of Magenta's strategy to drive the adoption of electric mobility across India and establish itself as a key player in the sustainable transportation sector.

To support this growth, Magenta plans to develop a comprehensive EV infrastructure in the state, including both AC and DC charging hubs. The company has also formed partnerships with leading Charging Point Operators (CPOs) and Jio-BP to ensure a reliable and fast charging network. These efforts align with Magenta's goal of deploying over 2,500 electric vehicles in Uttar Pradesh by 2025 to meet the rising demand for last-mile delivery services.

Maxson Lewis, Founder and CEO of Magenta Mobility, emphasized the advantages of the state’s incentives for EV adoption, as well as access to skilled labor and land for infrastructure development. "With a clear roadmap in place, we are focused on building a strong presence in key markets across the region to accelerate the shift toward sustainable mobility solutions," he said.

Magenta’s strategic partnerships with companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Porter, Delhivery, and Kuehne+Nagel play a critical role in integrating its electric vehicle fleet into existing logistics networks, enhancing delivery efficiency while fostering the adoption of green transportation.

The expansion is also expected to create significant local employment opportunities, with Magenta planning to hire over 1,200 Delivery Partners to support operations and meet the growing demand for electric mobility. With the state's supportive incentives and infrastructure, Magenta's efforts are set to contribute to the region's transition to cleaner, more sustainable transportation options.
