Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra is all praise for 'jamai' Nick Jonas
Madhu Chopra, Priyanka Chopra's mother, showers praise on son-in-law Nick Jonas, expressing admiration for their relationship.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas reside in Los Angeles with their daughter Malti Marie, navigating their busy professional lives that often take them across the globe. Recently, Priyanka Chopra's mother, Madhu Chopra, expressed admiration for Nick Jonas and her daughter's ability to manage both their personal and professional commitments. Madhu also acknowledged that Priyanka is handling motherhood more adeptly than herself.
"I love and respect him (Nick Jonas). He is a loving and respectful jamaai (son-in-law). We respect each other and discuss everything, but we do draw a line somewhere between us. We all enjoy each other's company as a wholesome family. Nick may be a foreigner, but I find him to be a family person. Priyanka and Nick share the same ethical values, and he too ensures that family is the key to progressing in life," Madhu Chopra shared in an interview with Free Press Journal.
"I see Priyanka and Nick supporting each other professionally so well. When Priyanka is on any assignments, he takes care of Malti. We are so blessed to have him. I feel so content now as Priyanka is shouldering her motherhood responsibilities better than me," she added.
Speaking about her one-year-old granddaughter Malti Marie, Madhu expressed joy, stating, "It was a dream for me to become a grandmother. I am so happy that they have fulfilled my wish. Malti is a darling. My life now revolves around her."
Meanwhile, Nick and Priyanka celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary earlier this year, having tied the knot in a grand ceremony at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace in India. They welcomed their first child, daughter Malti Marie, via surrogacy, announcing the news in a joint statement shared on social media in January 2022.
Priyanka has had a busy year, featuring in Russo Brothers' Citadel and a Hollywood project titled Love Again, alongside Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. She will also appear in 'Heads of State' with John Cena and Idris Elba and in Farhan Akhtar's next directorial 'Jee Le Zaraa' alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt on the Bollywood front.
