While Haasan addressed the marriage rumours on social media, she has now responded to Orry's characterization of her as "rude."
In a conversation with ETimes, the Ramaiya Vastavaiya actress stated, "I don’t know who that (he) is. I am busy doing my work and living my life. My focus has always been on people who bring good energy into my life and around me. I have always said this, and I stand by it - I am like a mirror, I treat people exactly the way I am treated, and I am never sorry for it."
For context, Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, recently conducted an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit. In response to a user's question about any celebrity showing him attitude, Orry mentioned Shruti Haasan, describing her as "very very rude" at an event he had arranged for her, despite not knowing her personally. He expressed feeling hurt but acknowledged the possibility of a misunderstanding since he is on good terms with her husband, whom he adores.
Following this, Shruti Haasan posted a note on her Instagram, clarifying that she is not married and addressing those who may not know her well to calm down.
On the professional front, the 37-year-old actress is currently appearing in Prabhas' Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, directed by Prashanth Neel. The film is currently running in theatres, and she is set to star in Dacoit alongside Adivi Sesh. Additionally, she has an English film titled The Eye in her upcoming projects.
