At the age of 74, Judith Light, with an illustrious nearly 50-year television career, clinched her maiden Emmy for her portrayal of a 1960s radical seeking refuge in a retirement home in an episode of "Poker Face," the Peacock comedy-mystery series featuring Natasha Lyonne. The former star of the 1980s and 1990s sitcom "Who's The Boss?" had garnered four previous Emmy nominations, including two for her performance in "Transparent." Expressing her gratitude backstage, Light remarked, "I've been in the business a long time, and this is quite a gift."

Meanwhile, Nick Offerman, aged 53, secured his first Emmy win after four nominations, earning the accolade for best guest actor in a drama series for his role as an impassioned survivalist who finds himself in a heartfelt gay relationship in "The Last of Us," the HBO video game adaptation depicting a world grappling with a fungal apocalypse. The series went on to claim a leading eight Emmys that evening.
