Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, firmly stated his belief that India is on course to become a $35 trillion economy by 2047 during his address at the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Gandhinagar. Emphasizing Reliance's integral role in Gujarat's economic landscape, Ambani declared it as a perennially Gujarati company. Over the last decade, Reliance has invested a substantial amount exceeding Rs 12 trillion in developing top-notch assets nationwide, with Gujarat receiving more than one-third of this investment. Looking forward, Ambani assured continued commitment to driving Gujarat's growth with significant investments planned for the next decade. Specifically, Reliance aims to propel Gujarat to global leadership in green growth by meeting half of the state's energy needs through renewable sources by 2030.

Providing details on upcoming initiatives, Ambani disclosed, "We have commenced the construction of the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex, covering over 5,000 acres in Jamnagar, slated to be operational by the second half of 2024. This groundbreaking project seeks to create green jobs, facilitate the production of eco-friendly products, and position Gujarat as a prominent exporter of such goods."
