UAB Online Maintains Stellar Performance In Latest US News & World Report Rankings

UAB Online boasts a diverse array of programs, offering 12 online undergraduate programs, 29 online graduate programs, 13 online undergraduate minor programs, and 39 online certificate programs. The 2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs has recognized the excellence of two programs from the University of Alabama at Birmingham Online, specifically the online graduate computer information technology degree and online graduate business degree in accounting, both affiliated with the Collat School of Business, ranking them in the top 25 nationally.

The 2024 USNWR online rankings reflect UAB's achievements, with the Collat School of Business Master of Science degree in management information systems maintaining its No. 4 ranking in the U.S. The Master of Accounting degree secured the No. 18 position nationally, ranking in the top 10 percent nationwide. The School of Engineering Master of Engineering degree climbed to No. 52, marking its best ranking in the past six years.

UAB's accolades extend to Best Online Bachelor’s Programs, with rankings of No. 21 for Online Bachelor of Psychology and No. 38 for Online Bachelor of Business. Moreover, the online Master of Business Administration for veterans achieved a No. 30 ranking, five places higher than its 2023 position, solidifying UAB's commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in online education.
