PM Narendra Modi enjoys safari in Assam's Kaziranga National Park.
PM Modi toured Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve on Saturday, where he also experienced an elephant ride during his first visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site.
On Saturday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Assam's Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve for the first time, embarking on both an elephant and jeep safari at the UNESCO World Heritage site. Beginning his inaugural visit to the National Park, PM Modi enjoyed the renowned elephant safari in the Mihimukh area of the Central Kohora Range before proceeding with a jeep safari within the same range. Accompanying the Prime Minister were Kaziranga National Park director Sonali Ghosh and other senior forest officials.
PM Modi had arrived at the national park the previous evening for a two-day visit to Assam, marking a historic occasion as the first Prime Minister to spend the night in Kaziranga. The day before, PM Modi held a roadshow in Kaziranga where cultural events added to the warm welcome extended to him.
