Bigg Boss OTT winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav gets bail in snake venom case.
Controversial YouTuber Elvish Yadav granted bail in Noida drug case involving suspected snake venom supply at rave party.
Elvish Yadav, a YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT, has been granted bail in a Noida court regarding a suspected drug case, as confirmed by his lawyer. Yadav and five others were accused of supplying snake venom allegedly used as a recreational drug at a Noida rave party.
Advocate Prashant Rathi stated, "The court approved bail after reviewing the application. Yadav needs to provide two bail bonds of ₹50,000 each." However, Yadav's release from Luksar Jail in Greater Noida, where he has been held since March 17, may take time, according to advocate Deepak Bhati. Bhati mentioned, "We've begun legal proceedings and will seek provisional acceptance of the bail bonds to expedite the release order. It may be issued tonight or take a few days due to the Holi holidays."
The five other accused, identified as snake charmers, were arrested on November 3 from a Sector 51 banquet hall and are currently out on bail. Nine snakes, including five cobras, and 20 ml of suspected snake venom were seized.
The case was filed under the Wildlife Protection Act, IPC sections 120B, 284, and 289, with jurisdiction shifted from Sector 49 to Sector 20 police station following directives from Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh. Elvish Yadav denies involvement in the snake venom supply at the rave party.
