YouTuber Elvish Yadav faces new charges for using prohibited snakes in videos, booked by Gurugram Police.
YouTuber Elvish Yadav, recently granted bail by a Noida court in connection with the snake venom case, now faces charges filed by the Gurugram Police for featuring prohibited snakes in his videos. The booking of Elvish Yadav and singer Rahul Yadav, also known as Fazalpuria, by the Gurugram Police occurred on Saturday, following a court order prompted by animal rights activist Saurabh Gupta, associated with BJP MP Maneka Gandhi's People for Animals. Gupta brought attention to a video filmed by Elvish Yadav at a Gurugram mall, alleging the use of various snakes prohibited under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, involving Elvish and approximately 50 others. Despite Gupta's prior complaint to the police and personal meeting with the Gurugram Commissioner, no action was taken until the recent court order.
Elvish Yadav now faces three cases within the Delhi-NCR region—two pertaining to rare snakes and one stemming from his viral video where he assaulted YouTuber Maxtern. Another case accuses Elvish Yadav of supplying snake venom to a rave party in Noida, a charge he admitted to after his arrest, indicating his involvement in arranging snake venom for such events. Notably, this case was instigated by Maneka Gandhi's PFA, which orchestrated the rave party as a decoy to expose those involved in supplying snake venom to such gatherings. Additionally, numerous complaints have been lodged against Elvish Yadav for alleged threats made against individuals.
The video in question was filmed at Gurugram's Earth Iconic Mall in Sector 71 last year.
Upon securing bail from the Noida court, Elvish addressed the challenging period of his life in a video, expressing gratitude for the support received and emphasizing a fresh start. He stated, "The one week that went by, no doubt, was a very bad phase of life. What to talk about the time I was inside (jail). Let's start a new chapter on a positive note. All those who supported me didn't support me, talked badly or well about me, thanks to all. I can only thank everyone. I am back to my work."
A case has been registered today against YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav and singer Rahul Yadav alias Fazilpuriya for illegally using snakes and using abusive language during the shooting of the song 32 Bore by Elvish Yadav and singer Fazilpuriya. Case registered…
