TCS net profit rises 9% to Rs 12,434 crore in Q4.

On Friday, TCS, the largest software services company in the country, announced a 9.1% increase in its net profit for the March quarter, reaching Rs 12,434 crore. Comparatively, in the same period last year, the post-tax profit of the Tata Group company was Rs 11,392 crore.
According to an exchange filing, in the fiscal year 2023-24, the company's net profit rose by 9% to Rs 45,908 crore. In the March quarter, its revenue experienced a 3.5% growth year-on-year, reaching Rs 61,237 crore.
Additionally, its operating profit margin expanded by 1.50% to 26%. TCS's shares closed 0.45% higher at Rs 4,000.30 apiece on the BSE on Friday, despite a 1.06% correction in the benchmark.
