Until 5 pm on Friday, a voter turnout of 64% was observed in 88 constituencies spread across 13 states and Union territories during the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Notably, Tripura's singular seat saw the highest turnout at 77.93%, followed by Chhattisgarh with 72.13% across three constituencies, and West Bengal with 71.84% across three seats. Bihar witnessed an increase in polling percentage compared to the first phase, reaching 53.03%, slightly above Uttar Pradesh at 52.74%. Specific turnout figures until 5 pm included Kishanganj at 56.12%, Katihar at 55.54%, Purnea at 55.14%, Bhagalpur at 47.26%, and Banka at 49.50%.

In Uttar Pradesh, a voter turnout of 52.74% was recorded across eight Lok Sabha constituencies by 5 pm. Among them, Amroha had the highest turnout at 61.89%, followed by Meerut at 55.49%, Baghpat at 52.74%, Ghaziabad at 48.21%, Gautam Buddh Nagar at 51.66%, Bulandshahr at 54.34%, Aligarh at 54.36%, and Mathura at 46.96%. In Rajasthan, the average turnout across 13 constituencies that went to polls in the second phase stood at 59.19%, with Barmer-Jaisalmer and Banswara-Dungarpur witnessing the highest participation.

Madhya Pradesh's six constituencies recorded a minimum voter turnout of 54.83%, with Hoshangabad leading at 63.44%, followed by Tikamgarh at 57.19%, Satna at 57.18%, Damoh at 53.66%, Khajuraho at 52.91%, and Rewa at 45.02%. Notable early voters included Union Minister Prahlad Patel in Damoh and Union Minister Virendra Kumar and his spouse in Tikamgarh.

The second phase in Karnataka saw a 63.9% voter turnout by 5 pm across its fourteen Lok Sabha constituencies, with Mandya recording the highest at 74.87% and Bangalore Central the lowest at 48.16%. Polling in all 20 Lok Sabha constituencies in Kerala concluded at 6 pm, with a provisional turnout exceeding 67.27%. Despite the official closing time, significant queues persisted outside polling booths, indicating a likely increase in the final turnout percentage.
