New Delhi: Ahead of the scheduled vote counting for the general elections on Tuesday, the Delhi Police has released a traffic advisory concerning the arrangements in the national capital on Monday.

Vote counting will occur at seven locations across the city, with ITI Nand Nagri in northeast Delhi being one of them.

Key Details of the Delhi Police Traffic Advisory:

• Traffic movement from Gagan Cinema T-Point to Nand Nagri Flyover on Wazirabad Road (Mangal Pandey Road) will be restricted starting from 5 am.
• Diversions will be in place at the Bhopura border, Tahirpur T-point, and Gagan Cinema T-Point, with Wazirabad Road (Mangal Pandey Road) closing for general traffic from 5 am onwards.
• Vote counting in east Delhi will occur at Commonwealth Game Village, Akshardham, with traffic restrictions implemented from 5 am.
• Commuters are advised to plan their journeys in advance, use alternate routes, and maximize the use of public transport to ensure smooth traffic flow.
• Those traveling from Sarai Kale Khan/MGM side towards NH-24 are recommended to take the Akshardham flyover route to reach Pusta Road/ITO/Vikas Marg.
• Travelers from ITO/Pusta Road side should use Akshardham Flyover near Akshardham Temple to access NH-24 for destinations towards Delhi.
• Cooperation is requested to avoid/bypass these roads if possible, with ample time advised for those heading to ISBT/railway stations/airports.
