The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the tentative answer key for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2024 (Paper-I) on Monday. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access the provisional answer key and response sheets on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. Detailed information and a direct link are provided below.

The SSC conducted Paper-I of the Junior Engineer recruitment examination from June 5 to 7, 2024, at various centers nationwide. Candidates can download the answer key using their registration number and password.

"The candidates’ Response Sheets along with the Tentative Answer Keys are now available and can be accessed through the Commission's website (i.e., https://ssc.gov.in). Candidates may log in using their Registration Number and Password during the specified period," stated the commission.

Objections to the provisional answer key can be submitted online until June 15, 8 PM, with a fee of ₹100 per question. Any representations received after this deadline will not be considered, the commission emphasized.

"Candidates may take a printout of their respective Response Sheets, as these will not be available after the specified time limit," the commission added.

How to Download SSC JE 2024 Answer Key:

1. Visit ssc.gov.in and navigate to the answer key tab to view the notification.
2. Log in to your account using your credentials to download the answer key and responses.
3. Check and download the provisional answer key and responses.

Note that there is negative marking in the SSC JE exam. For each incorrect answer in Paper-I, 0.25 marks will be deducted, and for each wrong answer in Paper-II, one mark will be deducted.
