IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2024: Notification out on agnipathvayu.cdac.in, apply from July 8.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the recruitment notification for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2025. Interested candidates can apply online at agnipathvayu.cdac.in from July 8 (11 am) to July 28 (11 pm). Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply. The selection test will commence on October 18.

IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Candidates must be born between July 3, 2004, and January 3, 2008 (inclusive). If a candidate successfully clears all stages of the selection process, their upper age limit on the enrolment date should be 21 years.

• Marital Status and Pregnancy: Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Unmarried Agniveervayu will be eligible for selection into the regular cadre as Airmen. Female candidates must additionally agree not to become pregnant during the four-year engagement period.

• Educational Qualifications:

  • For Science Subjects:
    • Passed Intermediate (Class 12) or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics, securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
    • Alternatively, completed a three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English (in Diploma or Intermediate/Matriculation if English was not a subject in the Diploma course).
    • Or, completed a two-year Vocational course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Mathematics, with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English (in Vocational course or Intermediate/Matriculation if English was not a subject in the Vocational course).
  • For Other Than Science Subjects:
    • Passed Intermediate or equivalent in any stream/subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
    • Or, completed a two-year Vocational course with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English (in Vocational course or Intermediate/Matriculation if English was not a subject in the Vocational course).
