The Vande Bharat Express is poised to link Udaipur, Ranthambore National Park, and Agra, revolutionizing travel for adventurers and tourists globally. This development will shorten travel times and enhance tourism in Sawai Madhopur, Udaipur, and Agra. According to the Railway Board, the Vande Bharat Express will operate from Udaipur to Agra Fort, with stops including Sawai Madhopur. This new route is anticipated to open up new tourism opportunities, stimulate the local economy, and facilitate travel for both domestic and international tourists. Visitors to the Taj Mahal can now easily plan trips to Ranthambore and Udaipur, while those heading to Udaipur can explore Kota and other nearby attractions along the same route.
Running three days a week—Monday, Thursday, and Saturday—the train offers flexibility for travelers planning their itineraries. With an impressive speed of 160 km/h, journey times will be significantly reduced compared to previous travel times.
The train will connect all three cities faster than before. The journey from Udaipur to Agra will take 8 hours and 45 minutes; from Sawai Madhopur to Agra, it will take just 5 hours and 12 minutes; and from Udaipur to Sawai Madhopur, the trip will take 3 hours and 25 minutes.
Departing from Udaipur at 5:45 am, the Vande Bharat Express will stop at Rana Pratap Nagar Station, Mavli Junction, Berach, Chanderiya, Kota, and Sawai Madhopur at 11:03 am. It will then proceed to Gangapur City and Bayana before arriving at Agra Fort at 2:30 pm.
