AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Monday following a raid at his residence and an interrogation that lasted six hours. Early in the morning, Khan posted on X, informing that ED officials had arrived at his Okhla home to arrest him. He wrote, "ED officials have just arrived at my house to arrest me."
In a video message, the AAP MLA accused the agency of persistent harassment over the past two years.
“It’s seven in the morning, and the ED is here to arrest me under the guise of a search warrant. My mother-in-law is battling cancer and is currently at my home. I have cooperated with them, responding to all their notices. For the last two years, they have been relentlessly targeting me with the sole purpose of undermining our party. We will not be intimidated or broken,” Khan stated.
