On August 30, Delhi University (DU) released the schedule for upcoming allocation and admission rounds for undergraduate programs under the CSAS (UG) 2024-25 system.
According to the official timetable, the upgrade window will be available from 5 pm on August 31 to 5 pm on September 1. The updated allocations will be announced at 5 pm on September 3, and candidates will have until September 4 to accept their new choices.
During the upgrade window, all candidates admitted in Round I and Round II can opt for an upgrade to their higher preferences. Candidates choosing 'Upgrade' can also reorder their preferred program and college combinations. If an upgraded seat is assigned, it will be directly processed at the college level, and candidates must pay any additional fees. Admission to the upgraded seat is only complete after the successful payment of the admission fees.
Mid-entry for vacant seats will be displayed on September 7, with applications open until September 9. From 5 pm on September 7 to 4:59 pm on September 9, candidates who either missed applying in Phase-I or failed to complete Phase-II of CSAS (UG) 2024 can participate by paying a non-refundable Mid-Entry fee of Rs 1000.
Candidates who were rejected in Round I or Round II due to incorrect subject-mapping or unmet program-specific eligibility can correct their subject-mapping and adjust their preferences during the Mid-Entry period. Those not admitted to any program by the end of the Mid-Entry window will also have the chance to edit their preferences from 5 pm on September 7 until 4:59 pm on September 9, 2024. Candidates interested in the third round should carefully review the vacant seat matrix and submit their preferences by the end of the Mid-Entry window. The preferences submitted will be used for subsequent allocations, with third-round allocations based on data as of 5 pm on September 9. Note that third-round cut-offs and ranks will not be related to those of earlier rounds.
