Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in New York on Sunday for a three-day visit, which includes attending an Indian community event and addressing the Summit of the Future at the UN.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in New York to participate in an Indian community event and to speak at a significant conclave at the United Nations. After concluding the Quad Leaders’ meeting in Wilmington, hosted by President Joe Biden, he headed to New York. The Quad Leaders’ Summit was held on Saturday in Biden's hometown, attended by Prime Minister Modi, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of Australia, and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida of Japan. Modi shared on X, “After programmes in Delaware, I’ve landed in New York. I’m looking forward to engaging with the diaspora at the community event and participating in other activities.”
Modi's visit to the U.S. lasts three days. In New York, he will attend an Indian community event in Long Island on September 22 and address the Summit of the Future at the UN General Assembly the following day.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will engage in a roundtable discussion with CEOs from American firms involved in advanced technologies such as AI, quantum computing, and semiconductors.
