Singham Again Day 1 Box Office Collection: Rohit Shetty's latest entry in the cop universe has made a strong debut. According to various film trade sources, the film is projected to open with around ₹45 crore (final figures will be available Saturday morning). By 10 PM on Friday, Sacnilk.com reported that it had already collected ₹43.5 crore and was performing well.
The occupancy rates were impressive: Morning shows at 39.39% and Afternoon shows at 71.90%. The highest attendance was seen in Jaipur, Surat, Mumbai, and Pune, each recording around 60-70% occupancy, while Delhi NCR had the most shows at 1,304 with a 50% occupancy rate.
Box Office India noted that Singham Again is on track to outperform Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in Maharashtra, though the box office numbers may not meet the typical expectations for a Rohit Shetty film or the Singham franchise. Notably, there were no bulk ticket purchases or discounts for this release, making the early box office figures straightforward.
About the Movie: Singham Again is the third installment in the hit franchise, following Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014), both of which were box office successes.
The film's trailer, featuring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh, showcases a nearly five-minute action-packed preview filled with iconic dialogues. It hints at modern interpretations of characters referencing the Ramayana, presenting themes of 'Good versus Evil.' In the film, Ajay Devgn reprises his role as Bajirao Singham, taking on Arjun Kapoor, who represents the modern Ram. Kareena Kapoor plays his wife, while Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar return as Simmba and Sooryavanshi, respectively.
