Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood will be rejoining Royal Challengers Bangalore for the 2025 IPL season. RCB secured Hazlewood for ₹12.50 crore on the opening day of the 2025 IPL mega auction in Jeddah. The 33-year-old previously played for RCB in IPL 2022 and IPL 2023, but missed the 2024 season due to personal commitments. Prior to his time with RCB, Hazlewood featured for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2020/21 and IPL 2022.

With 27 IPL matches under his belt, Hazlewood has taken 35 wickets, with his best bowling performance being 4/25. He is currently competing in the five-match Border-Gavaskar Test series against India.
