Audi introduces the refreshed Q7 at a price of Rs 88.66 lakh.

Audi India has officially announced the launch of the new Audi Q7 facelift, priced at Rs 88.66 lakh. Customers can place their reservations via the Audi India website or the 'myAudi connect' app, with an initial booking fee of Rs 2,00,000.

Locally assembled at the SAVWIPL plant in Aurangabad, the new Audi Q7 is set for its official debut in India on November 28, 2024. The updated model is powered by a 3.0L V6 TFSI engine, delivering 340 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This allows the Q7 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 250 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system to enhance performance. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, mentioned that the Audi Q7 continues to be a popular choice among a wide range of customers. He highlighted that the new Q7 offers improved features, a refreshed exterior, and innovative lighting technologies, underscoring Audi's commitment to the Indian market with its local assembly in Aurangabad.

The Audi Q7 will be available in five exterior colors: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey, and Glacier White. The interior offers two options: Cedar Brown and Saiga Beige. This launch strengthens Audi India's presence in the luxury SUV segment, combining local production with the brand’s renowned performance and design.

Performance-wise, the Audi Q7 benefits from Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system, providing exceptional traction and control across various driving conditions. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Q7 offers smooth power delivery and refined handling. Additionally, it comes equipped with an advanced adaptive air suspension system for a more comfortable ride, and selectable drive modes that allow drivers to tailor the vehicle’s performance to different terrains and preferences.

In terms of design, the new Q7 features a refreshed exterior that incorporates Audi’s latest LED lighting technology, including Matrix LED headlamps and dynamic turn signals, which not only enhance visibility but also contribute to the vehicle’s sophisticated look. Inside, the spacious cabin is available in two color themes and features high-quality materials, ambient lighting, and a luxurious atmosphere.

The Q7 also includes a range of tech upgrades, such as a dual touchscreen setup for infotainment and climate control, Audi’s Virtual Cockpit for a customizable digital driver display, and a suite of connectivity options via the ‘myAudi connect’ app, making it a tech-forward and comfortable choice in the luxury SUV category.

The Audi Q7 competes with other premium SUVs in its class, including the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Volvo XC90. Each of these competitors offers unique strengths: the BMW X5 is known for its sporty handling and powerful engine options; the Mercedes-Benz GLE emphasizes luxury and a high-tech, plush interior; and the Volvo XC90 stands out for its focus on safety and Scandinavian design with minimalist elegance.
