Rashmika Mandanna calls Pushpa 2 The Rule co-star Allu Arjun's arrest ‘heartbreaking’: ‘I can't believe what I'm seeing’.
रश्मिका मंदाना ने अन्य टॉलीवुड सितारों के साथ अल्लू अर्जुन के प्रति समर्थन व्यक्त किया।
Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule co-star voiced her support for him following his arrest on Friday, which was related to the death of a fan during the film's premiere on December 4. Rashmika Mandanna, who was also present at the premiere at Sandhya Theatre, shared a heartfelt message expressing her distress over the situation. She called it “disheartening” to see Arjun face arrest, and emphasized her disbelief at the events unfolding since that morning. In an Instagram story, she wrote, “I can’t believe what I am seeing right now. The incident that occurred was tragic and deeply saddening. However, it is painful to see a single person being blamed for everything. This situation is both unbelievable and heartbreaking.”
Other industry colleagues also expressed their support for Arjun. Actor Nani took to X (formerly Twitter) to state that no one individual should bear the blame for the death, calling it “an unfortunate incident and heartbreaking.” He urged for measures to be put in place to prevent future occurrences, adding, “We are all at fault here. One person is not responsible for this.” Nithiin echoed similar sentiments, focusing on preventing such tragedies in the future instead of assigning blame. He wrote, “It’s heartbreaking to witness such tragedies. I believe we must reflect on how to prevent them in the future. This isn’t about finding fault but about learning, growing, and taking collective responsibility to ensure a safer tomorrow.” Sundeep Kishan also expressed his support, saying, “How can one man be held responsible for an extremely unfortunate crowd event gone wrong, especially in a country that thrives on its population and celebratory gatherings? We need to learn from this and ensure it doesn't happen again rather than point blame. Love you, Allu Arjun Anna.”
I wish the kind of enthusiasm government authorities and media show in anything related to people from cinema was also there for the regular citizens. We would have lived in a better society. That was an unfortunate incident and it was heart breaking. We should all learn from the…

The incident took place on December 4, when Arjun, Rashmika, and his wife, Allu Sneha Reddy, attended the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre. The overwhelming crowd of fans led to a stampede-like situation, resulting in the tragic death of a woman and the hospitalization of her son. The police filed an FIR against Arjun and the theatre's management, leading to Arjun’s arrest. On Friday, the Telangana High Court granted him a 4-week interim bail after he had been sent to 14-day judicial remand by the Nampally Court.
