Beyoncé's childhood home in Houston catches fire on Christmas morning. Fortunately, no injuries reported as efforts are underway to extinguish the blaze.
A fire broke out on Christmas morning at Beyoncé's childhood home in Houston.
The current occupants of the residence were able to escape unharmed, and there were no reported injuries, as stated by the Houston Fire Department.
The brick house located on Rosedale Street holds historical significance, having served as a residence for the Knowles family. When it was listed for sale in 2018, it was revealed that the Knowles family, including Beyoncé, lived in the house from 1982 until she was approximately 5 years old.
Responding to reports of the fire around 2 a.m. local time on Monday, the Houston Fire Department found the second story of the house already engulfed in flames upon arrival. The family had evacuated by that time.
Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire by 2:48 a.m., and an investigation into the cause of the incident is currently underway.
