Warner Bros. 'Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts' । Official Trailer Out । Special Reunion
The much-awaited and anticipated trailer of Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts is out. After a prolonged wait, HBO Max dropped the trailer of the reunion on 20 December. The Harry Potter reunion will premiere on HBO Max on Monday, 1 January 2022, confirming that Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, the trio who played Harry, Ron and Hermione will return… The TV special is one of several 20th-anniversary events planned by Warner Bros.
The 50-seconds trailer gives little away, it starts with someone reading a Daily Prophet newspaper, with a front page headline saying: “Special edition: Hogwarts welcomes back alumni”.
Other stars including Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort), Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) and Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), will also be part of the reunion.
Harry Potter films, based on the books by JK Rowling, which are among the most successful film franchises ever made. Rowling, however, is notably absent from the special.
The cast of Harry Potter is set to reunite for a one-off special to mark 20 years since the franchise's first film - Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone, directed by Chris Columbus, was released. The special also marks 10 years since the release of the final film, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Pt 2.
For the unversed, the main Harry Potter series concluded in the year 2011. Then in 2016, Warner Bros kick-started a spin-off prequel franchise with the film Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. Later in 2018, a sequel, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, was released by the makers for its ever-excited fans.
Meanwhile, in 2022, fans can watch the third installment, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore in cinema halls.
