On Wednesday, Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, emphasized that the Centre has provided ample relief to Himachal Pradesh. He expressed astonishment at Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's apparent lack of acknowledgement. Speaking to the media at an event, Thakur highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strong affinity for Himachal Pradesh, citing his efforts to establish institutions such as AIIMS and IIIT, develop a national highway, establish a central university, and enhance railway infrastructure in the state.

Thakur further urged Congress leaders to refrain from making baseless accusations and instead reflect on their contributions during the crisis.

The minister also advised that only those formally invited to the Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya should attend, as a well-organized program is scheduled for January 22.
