“Aaj Ka Bharat Ghar Me Ghus Ke Marta Hai…” PM Modi thunders in Bihar’s Jamui.

Formally launching the BJP's electoral campaign in Bihar on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held his inaugural election rally in the state since the announcement of the election schedule. During the event, he criticized the Opposition for corruption and national security concerns.

Accompanying Modi on the stage, Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar reached out to the Muslim community, assuring them of communal harmony under the NDA government in the state.

Jamui, along with Nawada, Gaya, and Aurangabad in Bihar, will cast its votes in the first phase on April 19.

In his address, Modi lambasted the Congress for its perceived weak foreign policy, emphasizing India's proactive stance in confronting threats. He highlighted the achievements of the NDA government, contrasting them with what he termed as the Congress's ineffectiveness.

Modi's remarks come amidst renewed allegations by the Opposition regarding the purported targeting of political rivals by central agencies. However, he refrained from targeting RJD chief Lalu Prasad directly, focusing instead on criticizing the "jungle raj" under the RJD's governance.
